THE FOG HORN

Spent some time trying to write haiku. This is the only one that’s really a keeper. Besides the 7-5-5 (or 5-7-5) syllable structure,a haiku is supposed to communicate a feeling or ambience. The artwork is by my childhood best friend, Reid Morrow.

Night, and the mist of the sea

Is all that answers

The fog horn’s calling
