1. Don't use no double negatives.

2. Avoid cliches like the plague.

3. For the millionth time: Don't exaggerate.

4. Eschew obfuscation, opacity and nebulosity.

5. Don't repeat yourself redundantly, over and over again.

6. Be careful, when using, commas.

7. The active voice should be employed.

8. Be sure to never split an infinitive.

9. When dangling, you should watch your modifiers.

10. Manuscripts should be delivered to an editor in a manila envelope.
